This guitar gives you a clean sound as well as much distortion as you can handle from your amp or effect pedals without any extra unwanted noise and squeals.
The AS1 electric guitar is a great way to be introduced into the world of rock, funk and blues as it is innspired by a classic guitar that has done countless albums, tours and made many a guitar icon. The contoured body provides great comfort in playing which has made this type of guitar a favourite with many players.
It has a tremolo bridge that is not floating or lock tuning like a Floyd Rose, but rather it is designed for a small amount of vibrato so locking nuts are not necessary. Great Quality parts and Wilkinson Pickups make this guitar a step above the rest. We also sell these as a package with an amplifier if you need.
This is a full-size guitar perfect for Adults, recommended for children over the age of 12 (or younger if your child is strong and taller than 1.2m)
It has an eco-rosewood fingerboard and maple neck, a 2 way truss rod (which means you can adjust the neck up or down)
The AS1 comes with a Humbucker and 2 single coil pickups. This gives you more versatility in the styles you can play. Humbucker pickups allow you to produce better distorted tones.
It has a classic floating bridge (so you can do classic style tremolo and string bends) & die-cast machine heads that will help you stay in tune longer and make your tuning easier.

We use Courier services to ship our goods to you as fast as possible. Once the package leaves our warehouse the time to your door depends on your location, and any reported delays in your area.
We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

In stock products are dispatched from our warehouse just outside of Auckland within one business day of purchase. To get an estimate for shipping to your post code please use the Shipping Time Estimator on the product listing.
Drop us an email with your order number and a short explanation for why you'd like to return your purchase. We'll organise a return label for you to print and attach to the box then either drop into your local post office or we can arrange a courier collection if necessary.
If your item arrives damaged we have you covered! Just contact our Customer Happiness team at sales@artistguitars.co.nz and we'll arrange a return and replacement for you as soon as possible.
Our NZ operation is run using a 3rd party warehouse in just outside of Auckland. Being a 3PL it is not open to the public.
