Artist DSO5AN Oak Drumsticks with Nylon Tips 12 Pairs
These drumsticks are made from Oak which is the densest of all woods used in our drumsticks. This makes them more durable and able to withstand more beating compared to Hickory and Maple
The drumsticks feature nylon tips that really highlight the sound of cymbals, cowbells and the like. Definitely for Rock or Jazz players who have a lot of cymbal work in their songs.
These are 5A drumsticks which are the most commonly used drumstick. Their weight, which is lighter than 2 but heavier than 7 drumsticks, make them versatile to be effective in most styles and genres

Iv never snapped so many sticks in my life, they break so easy and also the nylon tips just fall off while your playing.

Buy Cheap, Buy Twice
My Gran always said "Buy cheap, buy twice." I ignored her when I bought these sticks. 12 pairs for $54 sounds too good to be true. Sadly it is. Gran was right - I have been playing a while and am used to sticks shredding over a few weeks. One pair of these didn't make it through the first verse of "White Wedding". They crack REALLY easily and fling sharp shards of wood across the room. The floor beneath my kit looks like the aftermath of a beaver's tea party. I'd say a quarter of the sticks were made on a Friday night, when the factory had run out of glue. This explains the second issue. As my singer caught a nylon tip to the forehead I noticed the dent in my floor tom head as the stick was now relieved of its rounded end. So, yes they are cheap, but I couldn't recommend these. They get one star because the service from Artist in supplying them was actually good. The product is letting them down.
