Artist EDK924M 9-Piece Electronic Drumkit with Mesh Drum Heads
Featuring the newest Electronic Drumkit from Artist! The Artist EDK924M is a 9-piece Electronic Drumkit featuring Mesh Drum Heads for the kick pad, snare, and 3 toms. With the new mesh heads, they give you a remarkably close feel and rebound similar to an acoustic drumkit.
The module features 240 different sounds, 10 preset drum kits, and 5 slots customized drumkits. You can create your own monster drum kit! In set up mode you can adjust the threshold, pad sensitivity, rim sensitivity, cross talk, and velocity curve. These parameters let you customize the feel to your playing style.
The snare pad uses a TRS input to allow double triggering (snare and rimshot) The Crash 1, Crash 2 and Ride Cymbals have cymbal chokes (by grabbing the cymbal you can stop it ringing). The drumkit also offers recording and a coaching function to assist in learning and practice. The drumkit module allows media devices to be connected for using backing tracks and playing along to your favourite songs.
The drums sounds on this kit are all centred. There's no ability to pan the sounds left or right.
The module has a connection for a USB cable. This connection allows the drum kit to be used as a MIDI device on a computer. Plug it in and your computer will install the necessary drivers. It will then be visible in your digital audio workstation software as a MIDI controller, allowing you to use an infinite number of drum sounds, and recording your MIDI drums directly into the software!
Note: The USB connection does not allow for audio interfacing with a computer.

I bought this drum kit for my partners birthday. He loves it, and has really enjoyed the built in practise tracks. He spends hours on the kit, and because of the headphone technology, he is not driving us or the neighbours crazy! The company were fantastic to deal with, phoned for help, and delivery was very fast over the busy Xmas period. Plus, well packaged and great price.

Great starter kit
Easy to set up. Decent feel. Lots of features and versatility: like adjustable clicks, kit sounds, coaching modes, and backing tracks. Had this for about a month and so far so good. Quick delivery once the back order came in too. Think this provided excellent bang for buck.

Perfect for beginners a buzz for experienced playe
Writing this review after a few months from purchasing them , Super satisfied with this mesh kit and ever more considering the price compared to other kits ease of use , set up and decent sound and range even mates who have been jamming for a few years were surprised. The extra crash cymbal is pretty sick compared to the other electric kits on the market , as you can work around the kit a lot easier and makes a more enjoyable experience jamming your fav songs that are cymbal dense.
