A powerful all-in-one tone solution for modern guitarists, the Valeton GP-5 Modelling Processor Effects Pedal combines cutting-edge digital processing with exceptional portability. Building on Valeton’s popular multi-effects pedigree, the GP-5 introduces advanced Neural Amp Modeller (NAM) compatibility and a streamlined SnapTone™ system for seamless integration of third-party amp captures and tone files.
Housed in a compact, road-ready enclosure weighing just 237 grams, the GP-5 packs over 100 high-definition effects, including amp sims, modulation, delay, reverb, and dynamic processors. Players can chain up to nine simultaneous effects with full signal path control, and store their favourite patches across 100 user-editable slots. The intuitive colour LCD screen provides a clean, real-time view of signal routing and patch settings, with four flexible footswitch modes to suit both live and studio setups.
Designed to accommodate modern playing needs, the GP-5 features a full stereo output, headphone monitoring, Bluetooth audio playback, and USB connectivity for direct recording or firmware updates. With support for loading up to 20 cabinet impulse responses (IRs) and up to 80 user NAM files, the GP-5 lets tone chasers dial in and personalise their rig with ease.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Comms and delivery were great. Pedal worked well but had issues with Bluetooth. Came right after a factory reset. Great sounds, reasonably easy to use. Nice little pedal!

Amazing pedal
This has totally exceeded expectations as a bass player. There are a couple of points to watch though. Current firmware (July 2026) does not support NAM v2. V1 works fine but the error message if you try to import a v2 is simply ‘timeout’. Also watch compatibility with your gp5 firmware and your computer app version. Second point is that the Bluetooth connection to the app sometimes drops after a while. That’s been reported by other sources but it’s not a big issue in practice. If you want to stream audio to the gp5, use the ‘gp5 audio’ connection, not the other one!

Powered up with power bank and paired with phone (and tablet), straight off this little beauty is excellent to use. So good for so little..
Solid wee nugget of a unit, mostly made from metal construction. Presets are a bit of a mix, nice to see some bass presets in there. Sounds good through phones or line out. You do really need a phone to take advantage of the full capabilities of this unit. This is a great wee product, I'm happy with mine, I purchased another couple for my friends too.

VALETON GP-5 - Must Have!
Incredible power and tones in such a small footprint (it's actually smaller to what I assumed it would be from the photos). Nice range of sounds and easy way to tweak them via an app. A number of ver usable modelled FX is included, and ability to load NAM profiles is a massive bonus (found some very convincing Dumble NAMs already). Bluetooth audio playback allows easy integration of backing tracks, and ability to adjust input gain up to +20dB is a welcome feature some competitors are lacking. Incredibly, high-gain patches are not as noisy or interference ridden as some MUCH more expensive units, definitely an advantage. The output is stereo and drives headphones or FRFR speaker with equal ease. Artist Guitars service is top class and friendly. Thank you!
