Artist SS91 Matte Black Electric Guitar w/ Coil-Splitting HMP Pickups
The Artist SS91 is a premium-grade, take no prisoners, rock machine! With some serious specs this killer instrument shoots well above it’s price-tag!
The Basswood body has an Open-Pore Matte Black finish, a carved arm-contour and super-high neck access. The carved ergonomic Maple neck is comfortable, fast and smooth in the hand, and features 24 Jumbo frets over a 25.5” scale length on an Eco-Rosewood fretboard. Also featuring an iconic reverse headstock, this modern-style guitar is tied together with Shark-Tooth inlays and Matte Black hardware.
Our matte-covered, passive, coil-splitting Artist HMP humbuckers are in both the bridge and neck positions, and we include a superior string-through hardtail bridge and 43mm bone Nut. The switch and simple volume and tone controls are strategically placed for easy adjustability whilst playing, so you can switch from soaring leads back to a thumping rhythm tone in a flash, and the coil-splitting humbuckers provide a huge tonal range!
This guitar comes factory-strung with D'Addario 9–42 gauge strings

EXCELLENT GUITAR FOR ITS PRICE
Straight out of the box, a quick tune, and what a beast it is. Great for standard tuning, superb for down tuning. Very nice finishing, excellent tuning keys, and great set of pickups with 5 way selector. For a low price, this is such an excellent guitar. I was seriously impressed with this guitar, straight out of the box the setup was great, finishing was superb, and the pickups sound really great, tone reminded me of the classic JB/Jazz set!

Kick ass play thing!
Service 2nd to none as been the norm from Artist. Guitar no.9 & yep...I'm happy to admit I'm a Guitar Addict. I asked them if they had cure and Molly said..." buy more guitars"! I like their attitude. And I probably will. Yes they're not the "real thing" but 9 quality guitars for under $3k??? Super light, great build, looks & sounds kick ass! Plays even better with those light gauge strings...imagine a Suzuki Swift with a 2.0 lt turbo! A helluva lot a fun! This is one kick ass play thing!
