Artist ST62 Vintage White Electric Guitar
Artist ST62 Vintage White Electric Guitar
This is the latest in Artist's signature model guitars. It boasts a modern tremolo - slot in slot out arm rather than the vintage screw-in design. This is an extremely nice guitar to play with great appointments all around. It features a comfortable '62 style neck with the Artist ST style headstock. This is also the first guitar in the Artist line up to feature the Artist ""Wrangler"" series single coil pickups featuring Alnico 5 magnets which were designed to replicate that great vintage tone so important to the ""ST"" style of guitar. Add to this the locking machine heads and medium jumbo frets and you have a great all around axe.
The body is constructed using Solid Poplar with a canadian maple neck and eco-rosewood fretboard.

DONT spend $200 on a Strat, Buy This Instead!By: Matt Mendonca on 24 October 2021If given the option of buying a $200 strat or saving up just a bit more, buy this. It's leaps and bounds better. I purchased this for my student on my recommendation that for the price, the specs were far better than any second hand instrument in the $300 price range especially strat type guitars. A bone nut, which is great combined with the 2 point tremolo bridge to keep the guitar in tune longer. Locking machine heads...try find that on a sub $900 name brand guitar. The pickups honestly sound great, I see no reason to change them out unless you wanted a single coil sized humbucker. The only thing I needed to do was polish the frets a little but even if I didn't, that would come right over time playing the guitar. If this was in a left hand model in seafoam green, I would be buying it for myself. Hint Hint Artist Guitars.

Plays Better Than A Fender StratocasterBy: Liam on 22 January 2021This is crazy value for money. It plays and sounds better than Fender Stratocasters. For less than $400. Was skeptical as usually try before I spend money - But no regrets sounds incredible. Other strat copies in this price range sound and play horrible. The neck on this guitar is amazing.
a semi-pro guitar!By: douglas scott on 22 June 2020a stunning version of the famous f word' guitar, no doubt built by a robot' but finished by a human! needed a ittle setting up. but so does every guitar! this guitar has a soul, for very little cash. just needs playing in'
A great quality ST-type guitarBy: Joon on 20 March 2020Despite all the reviews I've read online and the few video reviews uploaded on YouTube, I was quite nervous what to expect from Artist Guitars regarding the ST62. How can something so cheap get so many good reviews? Well, I'm glad to say that all my anxiety passed the moment when I played this guitar. It is setup quite well straight from the factory (although you may want to change the strings or get it setup just the way you like it). Pickups sound great! Neck feels really comfortable (I'm a rhythm player), frets nicely done and smooth. Very comfortable. It has got some weight to it - slightly heavier than I expected from its poplar body but still light. I love the Vintage white paint-job. This guitar complements my semi-hollow very well. I've been playing guitar for the past 20 years - this is just a solid affordable guitar to have for anybody. Thanks, Artist Guitars!
Great guitar for the priceBy: Kev on 18 July 2019This is one hell of a guitar for the price tag. Feature-wise, it does not differ a huge amount from my deluxe strat. It is decent weight but not too heavy, pickups sound great, comfortable neck with the fretboard well finished.
Great stratBy: Roger Black on 9 July 2019This is one very nice guitar. As good as any Strat but without the high price. Thanks John for your help. Very nice comfortable neck. Plays like butter. Great tones and clarity when needed. Can be used for guitar twang, funk, blues, fusion, jazz. Whatever you want will work with this. Not too heavy just a good weight. Lovely low action. The Antique White stands out on stage against my black or electric blue clothes. Sounds and looks great. Get yourself one, you will love it.
