The Hotone Ampero Switch is an ultra-compact, passive dual-footswitch controller engineered to expand the hands-free control of Hotone Ampero and Ampero II series multi-effects processors, as well as a wide variety of third-party digital modellers, keyboards, and effects units with external control jacks. Featuring an ultra-low-profile footprint and a rugged metal chassis, the Ampero Switch fits seamlessly onto crowded pedalboards without taking up valuable rig space.
Housed in a roadworthy aluminium casing, the Ampero Switch provides smooth parameter control, bank navigation, and effect toggling with complete passive reliability.
Dual Momentary Footswitches & Passive Operation
Built for maximum versatility and seamless responsiveness across digital platforms:
- Dual Momentary Switches: Equipped with two tactile, momentary-type footswitches (Footswitch A / Footswitch B) that allow you to assign custom functions like bank up/down, tap tempo, tuner engagement, or individual effect bypass.
- 100% Passive Design: Operates without requiring external batteries or a DC power supply, ensuring hassle-free plug-and-play operation anywhere.
- Universal TRS Connectivity: Connects via a standard 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS jack, allowing it to interface with any device that supports momentary dual-footswitch expansion.
Included Accessories and Instant Integration
To get you up and running immediately, every Ampero Switch includes a dedicated 80 cm (31-inch) TRS connection cable. Simply plug the cable into the EXP 2/CTRL jack on your Ampero device, set the external controller mode to "Dual Footswitch" in the global settings, and instantly map your two additional footswitch triggers.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
