Artist EDK924M 9-Piece Electronic Drumkit with Mesh Drum Heads
Featuring the newest Electronic Drumkit from Artist! The Artist EDK924M is a 9-piece Electronic Drumkit featuring Mesh Drum Heads for the kick pad, snare, and 3 toms. With the new mesh heads, they give you a remarkably close feel and rebound similar to an acoustic drumkit.
The module features 240 different sounds, 10 preset drum kits, and 5 slots customized drumkits. You can create your own monster drum kit! In set up mode you can adjust the threshold, pad sensitivity, rim sensitivity, cross talk, and velocity curve. These parameters let you customize the feel to your playing style.
The snare pad uses a TRS input to allow double triggering (snare and rimshot) The Crash 1, Crash 2 and Ride Cymbals have cymbal chokes (by grabbing the cymbal you can stop it ringing). The drumkit also offers recording and a coaching function to assist in learning and practice. The drumkit module allows media devices to be connected for using backing tracks and playing along to your favourite songs.
The drums sounds on this kit are all centred. There's no ability to pan the sounds left or right.
The module has a connection for a USB cable. This connection allows the drum kit to be used as a MIDI device on a computer. Plug it in and your computer will install the necessary drivers. It will then be visible in your digital audio workstation software as a MIDI controller, allowing you to use an infinite number of drum sounds, and recording your MIDI drums directly into the software!
Note: The USB connection does not allow for audio interfacing with a computer.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Purchased this set almost a year ago, after a long gap after selling my old Drum set due to noise constraints a decade ago. Set runs well, easy setup, sounds great through the headphones, and even better through my Sennheiser headphones. Have already worn out a set of drumsticks, so online to buy more now. First time drummer.
What can I say, as a beginner and have followed a few videos of various eKits and what to look for, I jumped for the 9 piece with mesh heads. Simple to setup, basically follow the pictures (there is a how to assemble video available). Build quality, is fairly solid (I do have worry about the plastic clamps for the various drum pads/cymbals in the future), The 8" mesh drum pads do the job. Sounds wise, I have to say pretty good, although I don't have anything to compare against. The manual for the controller could probably do with some slight improvements, especially around crosstalk, and adjusting volume of individual pads. Overall I'm very happy with this kit, and for a beginner I would recommend..

Great Fun Drum Kit
This is a first-time drum kit for my wife and me - and we both love it. We looked at more expensive kits in the music shop and sure the top of the range kits were better than our super affordable Artist kit but we are talking about 4 or 5 times the price we paid for the Artist kit, and for us as beginners it was just not justified to spend all that extra money ( I'm gonna spend part of what I saved on getting another electric guitar from Artis) . Hi, I was a drummer in my youth and early twenties and have been wanting to take it up again. I saw Artist Guitars on line and purchased the EDK924M. I am so happy with it. Okay so Let's be honest at the start I'm not a professional drummer not even an intermediate drummer, however I can hold a beat, and maintain it for a 4minute duration song. I've been wanting a drum kit for quite a few years now, and was tempted to buy second hand, it was always going to be an electronic drum kit, due to any forseen noise complaints from my neighbors and my wife. Great Kit for Beginner
Purchsed this kit for my daughter who has just started learning. Although in my perfect world she would have a 'normal' kit, this one had been great way to start. Really easy to put together, sound is great and realistic. The sticks feel like they are on a normal kit. The added bonus of headphones means minimal disruption to the rest of the household and absolutely not disruption to the neighbours. She's loving it, great kit.

Great kit for training
Giving 4 stars since though the sound is great, the crash choke does not work 50% of the time and the length of the ride cable could be increased a little more (perhaps 5-6 inches more) had to position in an uncomfortable spot. Otherwise the response is amazing! Kit is sufficient enough for blasting through most songs. Haven't unpacked the throne yet but awesome product otherwise. The mesh really gives a homely feel of the membrane when struck. Really silent when practicing. Haven't done too many rim hits to check for responses so no comments there but working good as far as I've checked. The cymbals have a nice response as well. The processor... I'm using it to the best. Input from the laptop via aux cable of 3.5mm to headphones out (default headphones are pretty good for a jam with sufficient lows while allowing my partner to talk to me and while I stopped playing, I could hear her without taking them off!) While the line out is connected to an amplifier. The processor held its bit without any issues. All in all, this is an awesome kit to have and a great bang for bucks!!! Thank you artist guitar. I bought this drum kit for myself as a returnee drummer from my youth, also for my 14yr old daughter who liked the idea of following in her "Old Mans" footsteps! This kit is a great learner drum kit! Whilst not the same as a regular acoustic drum kit, it has a lot of great features for the beginner...e.g. headphones! As not everybody in the house or neighbourhood likes the sound of a learner drummer, Aux input so you can play along to your favorite tunes, tuition drumming practice modules etc. I would highly recommend this Drum Kit for a new drummer or a returnee like myself.

Best in it's class
I am giving this product 5 stars for what it is in it's price point. This is an incredible piece of kit for what you pay. The limitations are that the sound bank may not be quite as good as top end kits, but it's 90+% of the way there. The only hardware complaint is that the high hat pedal could be slightly nicer but this is just splitting hairs. The mesh pads are fantastic to play. The responsiveness is great and the sounds are very good. The fact that there are 2 crash cymbals at this price point is amazing and it comes standard with a spare cable to add a 4th tom. Genuinely nothing even comes close to this kit unless you are paying over 2x what you pay for this. I would recommend this kit to anyone in a heartbeat.

That's like saying "you're pretty good"
A fantastic option, particularly with the mesh heads. Easy and intuitive setup, thanks to the instructional videos on the product page. I would recommend plugging it into a Focusrite Scarlet and into a computer for a wider range of sounds. The selection on the drum kit itself is quite lacking, particularly when it comes to settings such as reverb. The kick drum is a little disappointing, no where near as satisfyingly responsive as the other drums on the kit, but the others more than make up for it.
