Artist AP54J Vintage Burst Electric Guitar w/ P90 Pickup
The Artist AP54J is a premium single-cutaway guitar. If you're looking for a minimalist punk rock machine, this AP54J is the choice for you; punchy mids and responsive controls in a very tidy package!
It features a timeless Vintage Burst finish over a solid African Mahogany body, with a simple black scratch plate completing the look. The Mahogany bolt-on neck has a high-grade Eco-Rosewood fretboard, Dot Mother of Pearl Inlays, 22 frets in a 24.75" scale length, and a comfortable C-shape radius.
The AP54J also features a Wilkinson wrap-around bridge, with adjustable bridge posts and saddles to lock in your intonation, and the 43mm Bone nut and Chrome machine heads will keep you in tune through any basement punk show! With a single dog-ear P90 in the bridge position, the AP54J has got some serious bite, and we have used premium-grade hardware to ensure the tone and volume controls are responsive to the touch.
With just a single Volume and Tone knob, this guitar has a surprising tonal range for those willing to experiment with their controls. Alternatively, this is the perfect guitar to just turn everything up, plug into a cranked amp, and let rip!
This comes strung from the factory with D'Addario EXL110 strings.

First Electric
I chose this after a lifetime of playing acoustics because of it's simplicity and I have been more than pleased with it. It came playable out of the box with good intonation and slightly high action,. A set-up made the intonation perfect and lowered the action to just right, The finish. from the sunburst eo the lettering on the headstock make the guitar a pleasure to look at as well as to play. I'm having a lot of fun with it

Perfect punk guitar
I was after that green day punk tone and this does it perfectly!! Never played P90s before so was unsure if the noise from the pick up would be an issue but there is no problem with that, no more noise with this guitar compared to my fender strat. No point saying great guitar for the price, it's just a great guitar full stop!

great guitar,some small issues
Great sound and you can actually get quite a few sounds using the volume and tone pots,overall it looks great apart from a 1ply cheapo pickguard which I will replace no biggy, got rid of a lot of the P90 noise by sheilding all the cavities with copper tape,no drama there eitherP90s are always noisy,a very good guitar for the price
