Blending traditional craftsmanship with modern features, it offers musicians a fantastic instrument at an exceptional price point. Built with a solid American Ash body, this guitar not only has a sleek, natural gloss finish that enhances its natural grain but also provides a bright and resonant tone that makes it perfect for a wide range of genres.

With 22 medium jumbo frets made from durable 25% nickel, the guitar is designed to withstand years of play while providing precise intonation and a smooth playing surface. The modern bridge allows for each string's intonation to be adjusted separately guaranteeing that you can set your guitar up to its optimal level. To top it all off this wonderful little axe has locking machine heads that make sure restrings are easy and your tuning is never far from perfect.

I can get some satisfaction!!!

By: on 16 February 2023
The guitar after purchase turned up quickly. I unboxed it and plugged it in and only had to tune 1 string. Sounds great and the neck and action are spot on. This is a two-piece natural finish swamp ash body. Very attractive. I have trouble putting it down really. Artist guitars are spot on. Try one as a workhorse. I suspect you will end up really loving it.

Super fast delivery. Found a little bit of fret buzz above the 12th fret but that seems to have improved with play. The pickup settings are not all the same volume, but just love to play it. Sounds so good, and great value. Would give it 5 out of 5 if the pickup volumes didn't vary.

Good Value

By: on 8 August 2022
This is the cheapest guitar I've ever purchased. Good workmanship for Price, Good Pickups, Locking turners is a real bonus, No frills but looks good, Good neck. Playing for over 25 years and I would recommend this guitar for a good value guitar. Cons: (I overlooked because of value). Heavy Body, Frets required redressing. It was not playable out of the box I redressed and polished the frets. This was a minor issue but had a big impact on string life and comfort. After this it played pretty well and I was happy. A few months of playing it would achieve the same result to wear it in so don't make it deal braker, you need to play it heaps if you don't know how to do this before it will feel good.

Awesome guitar for the price

By: on 11 May 2022
Fantastic guitar for anyone looking for a tele with a bit of a difference. The dual humbuckers are sharp and punchy and really make this guitar come alive with some dirt. Single coil tap is the icing on the cake and basically you get the tele twang goodness and with a flick of the switch back your in heaven with high gain territory. Looks the part and stays in tune with the locking tuners. If I had to list a bad point that would be the weight. it is heavy and it is not a guitar you would want to drop on your foot wearing sandals so I'd get some strap locks otherwise if you can get over the heaviness it is a superb guitar for the price.

Quality undeard of at this price range.

By: on 23 April 2022
So after sending back my Grungemaster which was a bit too noisy for my liking (but not a bad instrument in the slightest), Artist sent me this amazing guitar. Wow. In my 18 years of playing I have never played an instrument this nice out of the box at this price point. You would half expect to at least set the nut properly and the action but EVERYTHING was precise and sounding fantastic. The humbuckers and single coil split really makes this a versatile telecaster opposed to the traditional single coil model. Team this up with a TS808 and you are in heaven. Would expect this quality at a guitar ranged 3x the price. Fantastic, Thanks Artist Guitars!

FUN TO PLAY, NICE GUITAR

By: on 10 March 2022
After viewing lots of reviews, I decided to sell my fender deluxe. And placed order for this guitar. I was little bit worried about weight. Very next day it arrived. And I surprised, it's quality and set up straight out of the box. Just changed strings and ready to rock. Fret work is amazing. Very fun to play. Plenty of tonal options on bullbucker pickups with coil tap. Special mention to sales staff, for their proper communication. Thanks Artist Guitar!!

String width

By: on 20 February 2022
Very happy with the TC59,it required a bit of set up, intonation ,nut height etc but thats kinda what you expect, the main issue was the string spacing at the nut,way too narrow and a bit sloppy in spacing,I refilled the nut and cut new grooves and it is where I like it,for those of us who have slightly larger fingers string spacing is very important, might be some thing to pay a bit more attention to,other than that it sounds great through an Artist Tweed 20 watt amp. cheers vic

Unbelievable

By: on 11 January 2022
After reading several reviews while waiting to purchase a new Fender Telecaster, I decided to order a TC59 Tele style guitar with Bullbucker pickups and give it a try. What’s to lose right? A bit over 300 bucks wasn’t going to break the bank I thought. The guitar arrived 2 days after I ordered it and I still can’t believe how good it is. Nicely set up straight out of the box, great range of tones, easy to play, solid and well built. Yes, it’s a little on the heavy side but so is a Les Paul! This is now my go-to studio guitar and I have cancelled the Fender order. Great product Artist Guitars - highly recommended!

Great sounding slab of wood

By: on 9 November 2021
This guitar in the style of a Telecaster is extremely well constructed. I mean heavy duty! The wood has beautiful grain and a high gloss lacquer finish. The neck is bolted on and contains a truss rod. The 2 bullbuckers with split coil option produce a variety of sound and the high density swamp ash body brings out great sustain. The intonation and string action was perfectly set up out of the box. Unpack, tune and play. It even has locking tuners, fender style. The delivery was prompt even though it was signalled that delays might occur. I am very happy with my purchase, I got a great sounding instrument at an incredible price point. I would buy the same again if it got lost or damaged during transport.

By: on 15 August 2021
Arrived literally the day after ordering, set up is bang on, the tone is outstanding and I just cannot believe that a guitar of this quality can be made and shipped to my door for such a ridiculously low price. Although reading some of these reviews about the weight, i wonder if any of these guys moaning about them being heavy have ever done a hard days work in their life...cause they aint heavy at all. Just feel nice and solid..also brought a tweed tone 20r, and thats also completely blown me away. In fact ive been having so much fun, i didnt even notice that my missus left me about a week..ish..ago..oh well not to worry. thank you artist, youve outdone yourselves once again.

TC59 Are you kidding me

By: on 1 May 2021
Liked the look of the TC59 on site so brought the last one they had in stock , I'm a little hesitant to buy without having it in my hands first and seeing if I like the feel of it . I have brought a few guitars online including 3 harley bentons and various guitars off ali express . While they were just ok and needing a lot of setup this Artist TC59 guitar absolutely whips there arse's right out of the box. It needed minimal setup , the usual things like string height and intonation ..... every guitar I have ever owned new has needed this setup , but this TC59 was so close it only needed the most minor tweeks....... though I will have to polish the frets to make it perfect but there not to bad. The frets are level and I have the action real low (which is where I like it ) no fret buzz and no choking out when doing hard bends, the neck feels great with the satin finish , there is no fret sprout and they are finished really well except for the polish I will give them. Those pickups sound F**king amazing , honestly I am stunned I absolutely freekin love them. I thought my PRS pups were good....... these are better....way better..... and then you get the extra tonality from the coil split which adds another dimension to this guitar. The tuners feel great and are smooth and consistent across all of them and they tune precisely , and locking tuners to boot..... how can they produce such a good guitar at this price point ? . The body is made up of 3 pieces of wood that are matched so well I had to really look hard for the joins and the natural wood finish is beautiful. I have 2 small gripes which aren't really that big of a deal because I knew about one of them just from watching the reviews on the artist site....... the obvious one is the weight of this guitar ..... it's heavy really heavy but I expected that...... I don't gig I just play with a few friends on the weekends etc and I don't have to stand , but if I did I could see myself with neck and back problems in no time..... but I knew it was heavy from the reviews....... the only manufacturing fault I have found is that the nut is not centered on the neck it overhangs one side and is short the other....... when I do my first string change I will pop it out and reset it as it bugs me. Not a biggie at all and for this money I still think I ripped Artist guitars off and got the best deal ever on any guitar I have ever brought including my PRS. I now trust Artist guitars 100% and will probably buy another guitar from them a little further down the line..... That grunge master looks pretty good but there always out of stock hence why I brought the TC59...... If they made this guitar with lighter wood I would buy another one no question. If you are looking to buy another guitar or even your first guitar I would recommend Artist guitars, there well priced and if you find you don't like what you brought you can send it back no questions asked. I can honestly say this is one guitar I will never sell , Thanks Artist guitars I am truly blown away with the quality of this instrument and the overall finish and play ability right out of the box...... stunning.....just stunning .

This Guitar is way better than anything else that

By: on 12 March 2021
The quality and sound of this guitar is better than anything else on the entire guitar market for under 1,100 dollars! This thing is bloody amazing. It is way more versatile than a fender tele, Sounds absolutely fantastic the neck is pure bliss to play and it sure is a looker. Honestly buy this guitar, Wayyy better than and Ibanez or Squire in this price range. I'd say it beats my $465 Ibanez GRG131DX in every way. 10/10 absolutely nothing wrong with this guitar, Go for it unless you are a stingy brand elitist

The neck feels like the holy grail. It’s just made to be. What a beautiful guitar. Sounds full and clear. Love it to bits.

A near flawless bargain

By: on 20 November 2020
This is definitely not a guitar that I would stylistically gravitate towards but I got one anyway and genuinely cannot believe the value. I typically play extreme metal stuff and this thing can surprisingly handle it very well. It feels so easy to play and honestly stands up next to my most expensive guitars. The only issue is it's weight if you aren't used to heavy guitars, but for me, it isn't a problem. If you want a high end feeling and sounding guitar without the high end price tag, do yourself a favor and get one of these now!

Tc59 lefty tone problems

By: on 19 November 2020
This is a great guitar overall but us lefty’s have been let down a bit. The push pull tone pot has been reverse wired so the knobs turn in a left hand wind. This is great BUT the pot does not have a reverse taper. This means the tone goes from off to full on with no adjustment. I understand there are no left taper pull push tops so the guitar should have been wired right hand so the tone taper works properly.alternatively a standard humbucker wiring would be best using left hand audio taper pots and loose the split coil.

Whole Lotta Timber You’d Betta Buy It

By: on 9 November 2020
She’s a little on the err....heavy side. If weight is important to you, do your research because she is a heavy piece of wood. But what a beautiful guitar to look at and play, it is gorgeous. In the compromise between a quality build and a competitive price Artist guitars get it right big time. The finish on mine is immaculate, a glossy as lipstick body and a smooth as satin neck and fretboard. An excellent guitar for the money, you could perhaps get a real pretend Tele from Squire for another $100 or so but I have no regrets getting the Artist TC59, save a few bucks on the guitar and get the Artist GOLDEN BROWNIE distortion pedal for what, $79 ? do your cheesy little amp a favour, it’s a great little pedal. WHY TO BUY THIS GUITAR: Stunning sound, stunning looks. Price is spot on, value for $ and free delivery within NZ. Jeez give me a backhander. WHY NOT TO BUY THIS GUITAR: You have severe back & shoulder issues and you don’t dig loud noises man. The protective plastic covering the scratch plate can be a major pain to remove and may necessitate loosening of screws, drinking, to get it all off, horrible stuff but what’d ya do?

very happy

By: on 26 October 2020
Got this gat only 2 days after ordering it off Trade me. Set up was perfect, and used it with the band for the first time today-- everyone commented on the tone. Very innovative to have a tele wih humbuckers that can be split to single coils, and locking tuners to boot. Sure it is a bit heavier than others, but I love this "solid " feel. It gets very good reviews on the net---- and they are well justified. A waiting list overseas for this guitar, and I am not surprised.I think this will become a future classic when people get over their hang up about "named " brands. And an unbeleivable price for what is a quaity instrument. Well done once again Artist Guitars.

Value for money beyond expectation.

By: on 18 October 2020
At this price you’d be expecting some downside, but try as I might I haven’t found one. Nice neck, comfortable and quick, string height between the pickups perfect for fingerpicking if that’s your thing, simple but definitely adequate sound control and range - good sustain and very tidy finish. Played well ootb - and concerns over weight are exaggerated. Very cool.

User error. TC59 Electric Guitar with Bullbucker P

By: on 12 October 2020
A top quality instrument. I had not used locking tuners before and a string fell out within minutes of me using it, then more fell out. Took me a few minutes to realise it was user error. But since then enjoying it very much. A wide range of sound options as well as the classic tele sound. Well done Artist. It arrived on time and was all I wanted and more.

Bang for your buck!

By: on 31 August 2020
I have had the TC59 for 3 months now and I absolutely love it. At this price point you will not find a better guitar outside of the Artist range. I play alternative rock, ranging from ambient to heavy riffage and this little minx does it all. Budget guitars usually don't have a voice, they just sound like a nondescript electric guitar. Not the TC59. Those Bullbucker pickups are fantastic, they have that unique Telecaster voice, and some! Having the coil split option enables a lot of tonal versatility. The sustain is immense. The satin neck feels beautiful and I am so surprised to find locking tuners on a budget guitar. There is only a marginal drop in volume when switching from full bullbucker to single coil, another pleasant surprise. The body finish on my one is immaculate, it really is a gorgeous guitar. It is a heavy instrument so if you suffer from lower back problems and you play for lengthy periods, this might not be for you - or you could just harded up. There were a few little tweaks that it needed... The frets were a little rough so I polished them with fret erasers and they are perfect now. I play in drop C so the intonation and action needed some love - to be expected. The metal string cups at the back of the guitar fell out when I changed the strings so they needed gluing in. The input jack nut was loose which prompted a once-over to check the tightness of all screws and they were mostly good. The sound wasn't as bright as I'd hoped but I switched out the tone pot (theirs is 250k) for a 500k pot and it gave me that Tele jangle I was after. That's just a personal preference though, the TC59 sounds awesome in it own right. Overall, the TC59 is a lot of guitar for the money. I was half expecting to be disappointed by it but it has vastly exceeded my expectations.

Tc59 Tele.

By: on 23 July 2020
Beautiful guitar. The bullbuckers sound great. Looks great and plays great. No need to go for a higher end guitar. Looks and feels like a more expensive guitar. Really happy with my choice .

Incredible value. Still waiting for the "catch".

By: on 17 July 2020
I have never really been able to throw any serious scratch towards a high end / big brand guitar. Over the years i have always settled for squires and epiphones, always under the assumption that it was as good as it got in that price range. I somehow managed to stumble on a youtube review for the artist TC59 and my interest peaked instantly. I'm a sucker for thorough research before spending my heard earned these days, and i have still yet to find a single review that can trash this thing. My first hand experience mirrored this. While there are a few small tweaks i have planned for it, this guitar is just brilliant out of the box. I'm still waiting for the "catch". Considering this thing comes with a 3 year warranty, im thinking i should just relax and play the hell out of it! Cheers Artist guitars for the awesome quality and amazing customer service. Bring on the Tweedtone 20r restock!

A great guitar with some minor niggles

By: on 3 July 2020
A great tele shaped guitar for a great price. Plus: Attractive finish, great sounding "burstbucker" pickups, locking tuners, nice bridge with individual saddles. Great finish on the neck. Fantastic sustain (probably from the heavy body), sustains for an age. Fret ends not bad. Minus: Nasty cheap (twisted) string trees that kink the string sideways and drag. Not set up, high action and intonation completely out of whack. Minor finish blemishes in my example. One of my tuning heads skips/slips. Man is this heavy. Strap pins aren't secure on the strap.

Artist TC59 Electric Guitar with Bullbucker Pickup

By: on 3 July 2020
Another winner from Artist Guitars. This is a heavy beast... but if you are used to Les Pauls then no worries. Very useable split coil tones, giving you a total of 6 sound options. For the price.... can't beat this one!

TC59

No need to waste your money on Fender and Gibson. Spend the difference on Quality Amps, although my Artist TweedTone blows my Fender Blues Junior away in all respects.

Worth the wait.

Having had the TC59 on order how surprised were i when it finally arrived. Looks great, feels great and plays great. Well as great as i can play at the moment. Number four in my Artist Guitar arsenal.

Excellent humbucker loaded Telecaster

By: on 30 January 2020
I pre-ordered this guitar, because of the positive reviews it has received. I bought this guitar as my entry back to playing electric guitar after a long hiatus. I was looking for a versatile guitar that I could play a bunch of styles on, but primarily focused on hard rock and metal styles. For these styles of music this guitar is brilliant for, the humbuckers this guitar comes with are so good, definitely a match for the best brands out there. Also the construction and finish of the guitar I received is second to none, I am blown away (the neck is particularly good). The coil tapping is nice to have and seems to function well, the locking tuners are also an excellent feature. The action was very good out of the box, I lowered it a tiny bit and tensioned the truss rod a touch. So its 5 stars from me, grab one before they sell out!

The service was nothing short of fantastic. The guitar was on back order and Artist contacted me weekly keeping me up to date on estimated delivery date. It arrived 3days early. The guitar is fantastic. Quality finish and performance the is superior by far to my Fender Tele. A must have for your collection. Workmanship is second to none. More than happy to recommend. Cheers from a very happy muso.

Delightful Surprise !

By: on 15 August 2019
Just about the best value for money I have come across. Good woods, all the hardware works well and the pickups are great. The setup was very playable from the get go but I highly recommend a trip to your favourite luthier for tweak and setup.

I want more!

By: on 15 August 2019
I have never played such a nice guitar for this kind of money. The fact that they're selling out so fast should tell you everything you need to know. I play everything from low tuned metal to ambient meditation music. This guitar does it all, best coil split I've ever heard at this price point. The pickups sound like a Duncan JB/59 set (maybe the reason for the nomenclature?), but on a Tele. I'm in love!!
