The Artist ASMVG brings together everything players love about a classic vintage-inspired electric, backed by a carefully chosen collection of modern appointments that make it an absolute joy to play. From the roasted Canadian maple neck and genuine bone nut to the Wilkinson two-point tremolo and locking tuners, every major component has been selected with performance in mind.
The neck is where the ASMVG really shines. Crafted from a single piece of roasted Canadian maple and finished in satin, it has the smooth, broken-in feel that usually takes years of playing to develop. The matching roasted maple fretboard is loaded with 22 medium jumbo frets on a modern 12-inch radius, striking an ideal balance between comfortable chord work and effortless string bending. Whether you're digging into rhythm parts or stretching out on a solo, the ASMVG feels fast, familiar and incredibly easy to play.
Under the hood, you'll find a trio of Artist Wrangler Alnico V single-coil pickups delivering all the clarity, sparkle and bite that have made this pickup configuration a favourite for generations. Clean tones are bright and articulate, edge-of-breakup sounds have plenty of character, and with a bit more gain on tap, the bridge pickup has all the attack needed for classic rock and blues. The traditional 5-way selector gives you access to every iconic pickup combination, from the glassy in-between positions to the unmistakable warmth of the neck pickup.
The Wilkinson two-point tremolo offers a smooth, responsive feel with excellent tuning stability, making everything from subtle vibrato to expressive dives feel natural and controlled. Locking machine heads keep the strings securely anchored, making restringing quicker and helping the guitar stay in tune through long rehearsals, gigs and recording sessions. Rounding everything out is a genuine bone nut, a feature guitar players have trusted for decades thanks to its excellent tuning performance and consistent tone.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.

If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
