Artist Black58DLX Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/ Bullbucker Pickups
This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues, and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton, and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!
This is a great sounding instrument and aesthetically beautiful at the same time. It features a Maple neck with an Ebony Fretboard. The 22 frets show off the 'Block' shaped plastic inlays on the comfortable "C" shape neck, and the brass-saddle bridge and locking stop-bar tailpiece come together for a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever.
The BLACK58DLX sports our Signature Bullbucker individual Coil Splitting pickups which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out-of-phase sound, and the push/pull coil-splitting on both pickups is an extremely useful and versatile addition offering single-coil or humbucker configurations. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

Ordered the last one in stock and what a delight to play. Tried it against a friend's Fender 355 and wow, it was difficult to tell them apart when playing, Sturdy design and easy to play and not too heavy for a guitar of this type. Dials are easy to adjust and the lockable key winders are a bonus. Makes a great guitar even better. Thanks to the sales staff and will definitely recommend you guys to all my friends in the music world.

Worth the wait!
I preordered this with some trepidation having seen this model canceled in NZ before but it was delivered before the listed availability date. And man was I impressed! What a beautiful beast! I know the reviews keep stating it...but the quality is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD for the money! The finish is impeccable, the set up was spot on & immediately playable out of the box. And those split coil Bullbucker pick ups are so versatile & sound amazing. The only -ve is that I'm still getting black stained fingers after 3 weeks. I expect the strings are new so must be oxidation staining happening. This is the 7th guitar I've bought from Artist & they've all been worth it. I've found if you can stretch your budget it's worth upgrading to the Signature Range ...nothing wrong with the Beginner range at all. But the extra specs you get is well worth the extra deneros...go on treat your ears! Great Service, Great Quality & Great Value for Money. What more can you want? And where else do you get a 100 day Free Returns policy? I'm no pro but Artist have turned me into a guitar addict. Rock on Artist!
