This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues, and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton, and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!

This is a great sounding instrument and aesthetically beautiful at the same time. It features a Maple neck with an Ebony Fretboard. The 22 frets show off the 'Block' shaped plastic inlays on the comfortable "C" shape neck, and the brass-saddle bridge and locking stop-bar tailpiece come together for a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever..

The BROWNBURST58DLX sports our Signature Bullbucker individual Coil Splitting pickups which means that you have the option of the warm throaty tones of the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out-of-phase sound, and the push/pull coil-splitting on both pickups is an extremely useful and versatile addition offering single-coil or humbucker configurations. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

You can get a great guitar at a reasonable price.

I am sick of being told I need to spend thousands to get a good guitar. I have fallen for that so I thought I would try a mid-range guitar. Picked Artist and have not been disappointed with my purchase. Great sound. So many features I don't have on my expensive guitars (which are on the market now) and am playing it every day. Love it.

Brownburst 58 DLX semi hollow

I ordered this about 10 days ago (just before a special price offer expired) The guitar arrived a couple of days later in great condition. I already own the 58 Cherry red and love that, particularly the pickups which are perfect for my style of playing. I was a little worried that the bullbuckers in the brownburst may change everything and not suit what I do. Anyway, I plugged it in and it sounds excellent. I tried it on several amps both solid state and tube and it is perfect. I play fingerstyle blues and jazz and couldn't be happier. Finish is perfect, intonation and pickup height needed no adjustment but I raised the string height a bit to suit my playing style. ( I like fairly high action which some folk may find a bit brutal) So what do I think. Fantastic! Excellent finish, hardware and overall quality and sound! If you are thinking about this style of guitar don't hesitate. You won't be dissapointed.
