Introducing the Artist EDK950… an electric drum kit that feels just like playing the real thing! The EDK950 is a 9-piece electronic drum kit featuring mesh drum heads for the kick pad, snare, and 3 toms. With mesh drum heads, the EDK950 feels and responds in a remarkably similar manner to the rebound found on an acoustic drum kit, especially when compared with rubber pad-equipped models such as the Artist EDK822.
The module features 193 different sounds, 12 preset drum kits, as well as the ability to customise and save your own presets within 5 user slots. In set-up mode, you can adjust the threshold, pad sensitivity, rim sensitivity, crosstalk, and velocity curve. These parameters let you customise the feel to your playing style.
The snare pad uses a TRS input to allow double triggering (snare and rimshot). The Crash 1, Crash 2, and Ride Cymbals have cymbal chokes (by grabbing the cymbal, you can stop it from ringing). The inclusion of an in-built metronome, as well as the handy recording mode, make the EDK950 the perfect kit for beginners and experienced drummers alike. In addition to this, the EDK950 module also includes an auxiliary input, allowing you to connect your preferred MP3 device and drum along to your favourite tunes!
Want to lay down some tracks? The EDK950 also includes a MIDI In/Out port, allowing you to connect it to your preferred digital audio workstation and trigger endless MIDI drums. Simply plug it in, and your computer will install the necessary drivers. It will then be visible in your digital audio workstation software as a MIDI controller, allowing you to use an infinite number of drum sounds and record your MIDI drums directly into the software!

We use Courier services to ship our goods to you as fast as possible. Once the package leaves our warehouse the time to your door depends on your location, and any reported delays in your area.
We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.
