About this Fat Boy Lead
The Artist Fat Boy is a tough cable, thicker than our standard braided cable. The jack connectors are protected with heat shrink both on the inside and outside for a prolonged lifetime.
This is a professional grade, low noise guitar lead, suitable for guitars and other instruments. It has 6.5mm (1/4"") jack connectors with all metal housing and internal heat shrink. The cable is sheathed in a braided cloth which makes it more difficult to tangle.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
If you do require a return, just Open a Support Ticket and we'll either send you a reply paid label for Australia Post or arrange for a collection by courier. This will depend on your location and the product you purchased. If you have any trouble you can contact us.

Seems to be all it claims to be. No problems found on delivery, Plugged and played without issue. Time will tell how it handles the rigours of life as my primary guitar lead but the sturdy construction and hardy materials bode well. I particularly like the distinctive 'old school' patterning on the outer sleeve, which stands out for easy identification amongst other instrument and equipment leads and reminds me of my Mum's Singer Sewing Machine power supply lead from when I was growing up.

Cables are so much more important than they get credit for. These are really well made, and because they don't tangle as easily they're really quick to coil and uncoil. They have a very positive "clunk" when you plug them in, and most importantly, they're seriously well priced...

Not much more to say about this really: good quality braided cable. Seems quite sturdy enough. We’re only using it at home, but it does the job very well. And really, it’s at such a great price that who could possibly complain even if it wasn’t perfect?!

I bought two of these for my son. We saw them in a popular chain music store for approx $35 each. He is a semi pro guitarist and goes through leads like you wouldn't believe. I gave these to him and said let me know what you think. He has used them constantly for a week and says they are the best leads he has ever used. Fantastic quality, value for money as I got two from Artist for less than the price of one elsewhere. I have bought several things from Artist now and find their quality really good.
