This is the worst sounding ride cymbal I have ever heard and played. It has such a weird flat flubby tone that is absolutely useless even for practicing with. I imagine you would have better luck playing a sheet of corrugated iron instead of this. Also I only played this cymbal for about a week before it was completely dented, bent, and pretty much unusable. Do not waste your time buying this cymbal it is trash but not trash in a way you could use. Do yourself a favor and buy you or your child a proper ride cymbal from a proper music store which would be about the same price or buy a proper cymbal second hand. Terrible, terrible product.

Artist Cymbals Preface Series
I cannot fault the quality of the Artist Cymbals for the price and would highly recommend for someone on a budget, or just if you are looking for spares or just extras for another kit. Added to that - I cannot fault the amazing service of the staff. Emails are answered promptly, orders are dispatched promptly, questions answered promptly and great customer care after sale service provided. They make it so easy. Having dealt with another music store that I won't name; as their products equally as good but after sale customer service terrible - I cannot praise the staff here more than enough - as their after sales customer care is impeccable. Overall great product, great service and great communication from staff - there are not may places left like this. I would give a 1000 stars if I could.
Yeah its cheap
Very cheap cymbal. sound is a bit plasticy. there isn't much body to the sound and it isn't super great to play gigs with. But it definitely gives off a sound and is very cheap.
