Valeton GP180 Modelling Processor Effects Pedal w/ NAM Loader
The Valeton GP-180 is a next-generation multi-effects processor designed to work as both a standalone tone workstation and the central hub of your pedalboard. It delivers the power and flexibility needed for live performance, recording, or hybrid setups with external pedals.
Powered by Valeton’s second-generation HD modelling engine, the GP-180 includes over 200 effects running at 48 kHz for improved clarity and response. An upgraded cabinet simulation system provides more realistic amp and speaker behaviour, while support for third-party IRs (1024 and 2048 points) allows further tonal customisation. With built-in SnapTone technology, the GP-180 supports NAM (Neural Amp Modeller) file conversion and loading. You can store up to 100 SnapTone files, with 50 included, along with 20 third-party IR slots for expanded sound options.
The system allows up to 12 effect modules in a fully adjustable signal chain, giving you complete control over routing and tone shaping. With 200 patch slots, including 100 factory presets, it is easy to access a wide range of ready-to-use sounds or build your own from scratch. A redesigned interface features a bright 2.4-inch colour LCD, dedicated module buttons, and clear status indicators for fast, hands-on control. The three-footswitch layout supports effect toggling, tap tempo, and assignable controls, making it practical for live use.
The GP-180 also includes a built-in looper with up to 180 seconds of recording time and a drum machine with over 100 patterns for practice or songwriting. A precise tuner with a cent display and multiple tuning modes is included. Connectivity is extensive, with stereo outputs including a balanced TRS option, MIDI control via USB, Bluetooth, and TRS, plus support for expression pedals and external switches. It also functions as a 6-in/4-out audio interface for recording across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
A built-in 3000 mAh battery provides over six hours of use, with charging via USB-C or DC. Bluetooth connectivity enables wireless editing, playback, and patch management through the companion mobile app, while desktop software supports deeper editing and system updates.
