The GP100 is a compact, affordable, and versatile multi-effects processor that delivers quality tone and powerful functions for everyone from entry-level players to advanced musicians on the live-performance circuit.
The portable size, straightforward and intelligently designed user interface, and robust, full metal chassis make this a great addition to any pedal board, or a fantastic fly-rig or backup! Small enough to fit into a guitar bag pocket, this impressive little machine should be on every guitarist's wish list!
The GP100 uses a dynamic HD digital modeling system, providing amazing amp-like tones and responsiveness for the 45 inbuilt legendary amp simulations, 40 Cab Sim IRS, and a huge variety of digital effect stompboxes. Plus, you can load your own IRs with custom 3rd-party IR support, all via a free downloadable Editor app.
With a massive variety of inbuilt presets designed by professional musicians, you can easily be set up and ready to rock in no time or dig deep and fully customize your patches and settings, and you can build your virtual effects chain in any order you wish. The GP100 also offers two play settings, Patch or Stomp, allowing you to quickly switch between entire rigs using patch mode, or use the GP100 like a virtual pedalboard and switch individual effects on or off in Stomp mode.
GP100 also features a pre-effects looper and a high-quality drum machine with 100 inbuilt patterns, and you can use your GP100 as a USB audio interface by simply connecting your unit to a computer/mobile phone (for mobile devices, a USB OTG cable is needed). Good for the price
By: Daniel on 18 June 2025Have enjoyed using this, got it for both Bass and guitar. I have noted a couple small things that not excited about: 1. The unit doesnt have a bypass, so you always need to be in a preset, if you just want a clean straight through sound you will need to configure a preset and clear all the effects and set levels accordingly. My last unit had this feature and got used to using it, so bit of a change for me, but might not be an issue for you. 2. The Valeton website seems flaky, I couldn't get the drivers downloaded to configure from my pc for a few days. When I did my computer didnt like the software and it would crash and was un-usable. I did manage to get the latest firmware onto the device, however it didn't resolve my crashing issue. I think it might have something to do with my Tascam Audio interface.. maybe and wanting to share the same ASIO drivers but I haven't had the time to sit there and work it out. Just using the Interface on the pedal has been fine, and used to it as my last multi effects pedal didn't have fancy software to configure it. Overall, for the price, features and feels pretty robust and solid, it still gets a good review from me.

GP 100
By: Mark Smith on 12 May 2025Very happy with the pedal, I have been using an old Boss ME 70 and this thing has so much more to offer, very easy to work with, the software is fantastic and great range of effects. Awesome pedal and service. Cheers Mark

Powerful little ME unit
By: Thisara on 26 April 2025Like most reviews online and here say, this thing is a seriously cool piece of gear. The software works flawlessly & I used the free Waveform DAW to record &tweak tones. Such a smooth experience. The GP100 delivers way above its price point & I’ve been having a blast with different sounds. Shoutout to the Artist Guitars team for packing & shipping it with care, no issues at all. Thanks heaps guys! Totally worth it.

Really Neat
By: Mark on 20 March 2025Just love this. Only thing a little awkward is that with each setting, the volume levels vary. So, a bit of manual input and saving required. Still, that helps with experimentation and therefore learning how and what to use. It's definitely fun to play with, eliminates using many pedals and makes recording interesting. Great product, only drawback is manual and instructions on Valeton website don't appear to offer an English version, maybe it does, and I just don't know how to find it.

Punches well above its weight.... and price
By: Mike on 31 January 2025I've been looking for a small, low priced mfx pedal as part of a busking rig. I run it straight into a Roland Cube Street EX Line in. Really impressed with this little unit that has usable tones right out of the box. It is very easy to tweak using the software. The built-in expression pedal and looper means that this is now my only pedal. Definitely recommend. I wasn't sure if it would fit the bill but the easy return policy with Artist guitars gave me the confidence to give it a go.
