The Hotone Soul Press II is a next-generation, multi-functional expression and effect pedal engineered for guitarists and bassists who need maximum functionality in a pedalboard-friendly footprint. Upgraded from the acclaimed first-generation Soul Press, the Soul Press II combines four essential operational modes into a single compact housing: Volume, Wah, Vol/Wah, and passive Expression.
Featuring an expanded pedal surface area for enhanced ergonomics, real-time status indication, and upgraded active volume circuitry, the Soul Press II provides smooth parameter sweeps, uncompromised signal clarity, and vocal wah response.
4-in-1 Mode Versatility with Q and Tone Adjustments
The Soul Press II offers four distinct operating modes selectable via an onboard toggle switch:
- Volume Mode: Active volume control design preserves pure guitar tone without high-end treble bleed or signal loss across the entire treadle sweep.
- Wah Mode: Classic vintage-voiced wah algorithm with adjustable Q (resonance) and Tone (frequency range) controls, allowing you to fine-tune the sweep from warm, vocal mid-sweeps to bright, aggressive bite.
- Vol/Wah Mode: Combines both effects into a single pedal sweep. Operating as a volume pedal by default, pressing the toe switch instantly engages the Wah effect without interrupting your signal flow.
- Expression Mode: Functions as a passive expression pedal that works without an external power supply. Compatible with digital modellers, multi-effects units, and modulation pedals via dedicated EXP OUT.
Real-Time Status Display and Flexible I/O Routing
Equipped with dual status LEDs, the Soul Press II features a multi-colour Status Bar LED that indicates pedal position in real-time, providing instant visual feedback on dark stages.
Designed for modern pedalboard routing, the Soul Press II includes independent Tuner Out and EXP Out jacks, allowing you to feed dedicated chromatic tuners or external expression inputs simultaneously without splitting your primary guitar signal.

Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.

If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
