With various stackable delays, reverbs, modulation, fuzz and drive, the Dapper Indie provides all the grit and spacious shoe-gazey tones you need, and is the perfect solution to a portable, reliable, and gig-ready rig! With a high-quality tuner, multiple routing options, and even a cab-sim enabled headphone port for silent practice, the Dapper Indie offers everything a guitarist needs in one tidy package!
The VES5 has a small footprint, and robust enclosure, making it ideal as a backup in the pocket of your gig bag, or a full fly-rig for the musician on the road! TUNER
The fast and accurate tuner uses an LED display to be clear and visible on any stage. The note name appears on the screen, the dot on the bottom right of the screen indicates a sharp note, and the pitch accuracy is indicated by the LEDs. It’s fast to engage and will mute your signal when in use
INDIE DRIVE
The 2-band EQ, Gain and Level controls offer you wide tonal shifts, from warm, edge-of-breakup, to wild overdriven solos.
FUZZ WALL
Kick the fuzz on when you need to bring the wall of sound! Like the INDIE DRIVE module, the onboard controls offer you wide tonal range with some classic muff-y power, and it sounds great when boosted by the INDIE DRIVE.
LIQUID FX
Switch between 3 high quality modulation effects, with both classic-inspired and modern go-to modulations, the Tremolo, Phaser, and Chorus are easy to control and change your sonic pallet entirely!
ECHOES
3 classic delays, Analog, Tape, and Reverse, allow you to layer your repeats in a variety of ways and easily set your repeats hands-free with the tap-tempo mode. Hold the footswitch to enable the Tap Tempo function. Tap to the rhythm of your song, and the TIME LED will pulse to indicate the delay time you set. Hold the footswitch again to return to knob-controlled tempo mode.
AMBIENT
This provides 3 different reverb modes with natural, musical decay. Hold the footswitch to switch effect trails on/off and combine this with the ECHOES and LIQUID FX modules to take your sound to the stratosphere!
PHONES (WITH CAB SIM)
Plug your earphones into the PHONES jack for silent jams. It’s equipped with a cab simulator, so you can run Dapper Indie right to your headphones and sound like you're playing through a stack. You can also run a line out of this jack for direct recording or straight to the house PA system.

We ship all orders for free. All deliveries are insured so if an item arrives damaged we'll happily refund or replace it for you. Check our warranty page for more information.
Purchases with Artist Guitars come with a 3-year Warranty. Warranty is only valid to the original purchaser and in the original country of purchase. Please take note of your order number to help us verify your purchase in the event of a warranty claim.
If the issue can be fixed by replacing a part, we will send it to you free of charge. Spare parts are shipped from our office in Sydney, Australia. If more extensive work is required our Customer Happiness department will arrange a free return slip or courier collection to get your item returned for further assessment.
Also included in your warranty is our industry leading 100 Days Change of Mind Policy
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of any of our products, we'll be happy to arrange a free return of your product for an exchange or full refund, including any shipping charges. This also covers instances where you may have bought the wrong size or if you simply change your mind.
