Artist Cherry58 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar w/ Humbucker Pickups

This classic style guitar has existed in many forms since it was first released in 1958. Since then it has been coveted by some of the greatest Rock 'n Roll, Blues, and Jazz guitarists that the world has ever known. Legendary names like BB King, Freddie King, John McLaughlin, Larry Carlton, Jorma Kaukonen, Eric Clapton, and Elvin Bishop are among the multitude of players who have loved the diverse tones that this type of instrument offers. Now it's your turn!

The Artist Cherry58 offers a perfect entry-level guitar for those wishing to begin their journey into the world of blues and Jazz. With the typical set-neck, this guitar is truly a "blues machine". Like the body, the neck is constructed of maple on an eco-friendly Eco-Rosewood fretboard. This wood is a fine substitute for rosewood which is now considered a highly endangered species and as a result is rarely if ever used in general guitar building these days. The 22 frets show off the 'Dot' shaped plastic inlays and the comfortable "C" shape neck, tune-o-Matic bridge and stop-bar tailpiece means you have a guitar that will not only feel great under your fingers but one that will sustain forever.

The Cherry58 sports chrome-covered VLPA Humbuckers with Alnico V magnets, giving you warm throaty tones on the neck pickup or the biting clean sounds of the bridge pickup. When you set your toggle switch in between neck and bridge pickup you get that wonderful almost out of phase sound, making this an extremely versatile guitar that will be very responsive under your fingers. You will be able to put a stamp on all those great blues solos and wail like the greats or you could darken the tone to suit the "cool" of any dingy little jazz club.

Cherry58 Semi Hollow Electric Guitar

I have nothing but positive feedback for this guitar. First the delivery was quick and fast and then straight out of the box was a quick tune up and have enjoyed jamming this beauty! I will gladly play it on stage! The pick ups and head stock are great, the neck and fret board feels awesome, and more so the look of this guitar is easy on the eyes with that Cherry Red. Amazing quality!

I opted for the Cherry58 after watching the video reviews comparing it to the Gibson ES335 and the Epiphone Dot Classic (which I already had). On delivery the guitar was well packed and protected and the finish flawless. It played in tune out of the box. I played it against my 30yr old Epiphone and to my ear they were of equal quality. The Artist will be my daily player and the Epiphone will be kept in reserve. I don’t know how Artist can deliver such a quality instrument for the price charged - there is absolutely no sense of it being a cheap imitation.

Hi, Got my guitar last week and I'm so impressed with playability, sound, most of all quality and price. I've replaced my MiM telecaster due to weight I found I couldn't stand and play it no longer due to age and Arthritis. Now I can stand and play no problem. I was turned to Artist Guitars after buying several other products and found the quality and price most surprising and am once again not disappointed. I only had to dress one fret end with a nail file just one sharp end. You don't need to buy Named brands to get this much quality thanks Artist Guitars

Fabulous guitar

I bought one as a beater to sit beside me while on computer and to pick up in spare moments. I had to adjust a few things like bridge height etc when it arrived but only the sort of things you would normally do to ensure it's set up OK . Then it played gloriously, stayed in tune, no problems with frets or other bits and gave me all the 335 sounds I'd expect. I am lucky enough to have a 1961 vintage Gibson 335 with PAF humbuckers and this Artist version comes closer than anything else I've played to it. Great instrument.

My first hollow body…is awesome! Big rush fan and wanted to fanboy a bit of Alex lifeson with his es355 and it certainly fits the bill Get some nice mellow tones out of it and then with a flick of the pick up selector you can get some really crunchy riffs going As with all my other artist guitars and basses this is a Great guitar, quickly becoming my number one
